About Dr. Forrest Allen, DO

Dr. Allen is double board-certified and dual fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Management and Sports Medicine. He graduated from the University of Kansas, and went on to receive a Master’s in Bioethics and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences. He completed his Sports Medicine fellowship at MacNeal Hospital through Loyola University, and then went on to complete a second fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the Alabama Orthopedic Spine and Sports Clinic in Birmingham.

Academically, Dr. Allen has participated in numerous clinical research studies and has presented nationally at major medical societies throughout his career. As one of the first physicians in the Nashville area to perform numerous cutting-edge interventional procedures, he prides himself on being up to date on the most recent advances in pain treatment. He has performed well over 15,000 interventional procedures to date, and is dedicated to providing his patients with the best minimally invasive options to treat their pain.

In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, traveling with his wife and three sons, and following his favorite sports teams, the Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs.
